I love Mexican food, but this was such a disappointing experience, I had to leave a review. First, it was extremely hot. Either the AC was broken or was not turned cold enough. No excuse either way in the summer. Second, service was terrible. Did not get drinks refilled until meal was over. Could not order an appetizer because server never came back after initial order. Could not even find her. Was not offered more chips and salsa once, and could not ask for it. Third, the food was incredibly bad. The guacamole tastes and looks like they plopped avocado in a bowl. If I could give them zero stars I would. Their customer service is no good. I never felt more disrespected by a restaurant. They only care about making money off people. I ordered $80 in tacos online and not even a minute later the ready time changed from minutes to 2 hrs from the time I ordered so I decided to cancel. I was only given the option to call the location to cancel and I kept getting a busy signal. I got a notification that it was ready 2 hrs later. I tried to call again and it finally rang and someone answered. They told me I could not cancel because the food is made already. 2 hrs later. Who waits 2 hrs for food?? This is a great place to enjoy a nice time with the family. It's quiet and cozy, making it very inviting. The wait time between ordering and receiving your food is also reasonable, about 10 minutes. The seasoning of the dishes is excellent, and the waitstaff are friendly and attentive.
The restaurant may not have the best appearance, but the food is incredible. The service is quick, and the establishment is tidy. The prices are also quite reasonable compared to other places. My friend and I each ordered a soda and three birria tacos, and the total was just $30.
