We had a great experience with the lunch special, which offered a choice between Carrot Soup and Summer Salad to start. The Carrot Soup was tasty, but the Summer Salad truly impressed us with its delightful combination of fruits and beets! For our main courses, we tried the Sausage Risotto and Tofu Noodles Stir Fry. The risotto was the highlight of the meal, bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The tofu in the stir fry was good, but the noodles were slightly overcooked and lacking in taste, so I added some hot sauce to enhance them. Le Don proves to me that some vegan dishes just won’t ever be worth the dollar sign attached. Great appetizer with the cauliflower bites. The burrito bowl for $26, however, was a huge letdown. Rice, jackfruit, avocado, and baby spinach with tortilla chips, does not a $26 burrito bowl make. My girlfriend got the bibimbap, and she was also let down by just how pricey it was $28) for what was mostly just vegetables in a bowl. I think the menu has a lot to offer, and we just chose things that weren’t quite up to par. The rest of the food that we saw from other tables looked great. Great fully vegan restaurant in the middle of Old Quebec! I read reviews beforehand so I knew that their spicy dishes weren't labeled as such, but I did mention to my server that I didn't want anything spicy and he made sure I got what I wanted and advised me the delicious donplings might be a little too spicy for me. I ordered and LOVED the Carbonada spaghetti and Poor Man's Pudding, a traditional Quebecois dessert gone vegan! And the water is fresh from Canada, not the tap! Just a warning that if you want to bring your kids here, the music can be explicit at times, which I wish they would change to make it a bit more family friendly.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was amazing! I can't believe everything is vegan! I would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends. It's a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you have a table. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the week, but I went on a Saturday night and it was packed! I tried the beet tartare, agnolottis, and spaghetti carbonara, and for dessert, I had the chocolate cake, which was wonderfully moist and delicious! After this meal, my stomach was very happy! :D

This is a lively and eclectic restaurant located in Old Town Quebec, featuring an extensive menu. We ordered the Agnolottis (ravioli), Bibimbap, and two mocktails. The staff was accommodating with my nightshade allergies, and they communicated effectively in English since my French is not very good. Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch! There are seating options both indoors and outdoors. As a vegetarian, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and my non-vegetarian partner loved it as well.
An absolute must if you’re vegan/ vegetarian traveling through Québec. We ate here four times the 3 days we were in town! The food was beautifully presented, the Caesar salad is possibly the best I’ve ever had, and the service was spectacular. I really don’t know what we would have done without this place, because there are not a lot of veg options in town. Luckily they deliver spectacular vegan fare and make you feel right at home. We loved everything about this place.
This is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Quebec City. With its trendy atmosphere and exceptional food, it truly stands out. The sauce on the gnocchi was rather bland, although the tofu bacon added some flavor; unfortunately, there were only a few pieces sprinkled on top, which left the dish feeling lacking overall. In summary, Don Vegan feels more like a casual beer garden than the gastro pub it aims to be. It's disappointing to give a vegan restaurant a mediocre review, but that's my honest experience.

Very nice location, our server was courteous and polite as well. The entree dumplings were amazing. In the main course the General Tao Tofu and Carbonada was delicious. The cocktails are great but skip the mocktails. It took them a long time (over 30 mins. to get from entree to mains.
