We've visited Donato about five times now. While we appreciate the decor, our experiences have been somewhat disappointing. The food is decent, but the cocktails haven't impressed us. The service is acceptable, but not exceptional. Although the host and servers are attentive, they don't exude a very cheerful or welcoming atmosphere. We feel that the overall cost outweighs the value of the experience. Ultimately, we want to love Donato, but it leaves us feeling a bit underwhelmed.
We had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch, with professional and courageous staff, friendly ladies at the coat check, and a welcoming hostess. The waitstaff was perfect, and the food was outstanding, all enjoyed in a stylish atmosphere.
Excellent everything. I’m a bit foodie and found the food to be delicious. The pasta with vodka sauce was some of the best I’ve had. The ribe eye with salt and olive oil was delish. Definitely recommend.
