Donut King saved the day for me today! I was in search of Wi-Fi for an important work meeting after my power went out due to the snow storm. I decided to walk 1.5 miles in the snow to the Starbucks nearby only to be turned away as they were only taking drive-through customers. Thankfully I decided to walk around the corner and found Donut King was open with free Wi-Fi! The employees were so nice and friendly despite the cold. I ordered a cappuccino and logged onto my computer just in time for my meeting. Donuts (Boston Cream and Strawberry frosted were okay…expected better for the price. The cashier Allya (sp was rude. Looked annoyed when I walked in. Then when she was finished doing whatever (never said “be right with you” she said: “do you know what you want” in an annoyed tone.
one of the few places that actually serve really good donuts. in a world of business chains selling frozen baked goods from a factory, it is nice to get some freshly prepared with high quality ingredients.
Donut King has donuts, cookies, other pastries, plus has a grill for more robust food. This is a real gem that has been contributing to the happiness of the neighborhood for years.
This is the best donut I've ever eaten. Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme are ruined forever.
