What a find! After being declined at two wineries we wanted to dine at, we found Doppiozero Pizzeria. Although busy, we were able to book in at 1pm for lunch. We were seated immediately. Staff were very friendly and attentive but most of all Raffael, who treated us like royalty. We had a stunning meal, vegan lasagne, vegetable bowl, warm octopus on sweet potato and Genovase pizza. The food was tasty and very appealing aesthetically!<br/ <br/ After lunch long time partners completely surprised us and Len proposed to Veronica. The interior was nice and everyone liked the flame effect heater and projector. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. But there was only one serving staff the whole night and things could take long. <br/ <br/ Our entrées were great. Pear and rocket salad was fresh and lovely. Mixed cheese and ham palette was delightful. Calamari was incredible and I think it was even comparable to the Rock (the Rock does the best fish n chips btw). <br/ <br/ Yet, main courses were not particularly impressive. We were not fans of their pizza. The base was good but the pizza sauce was too moist and bland, making the pizza quite soggy. Their pasta was slightly thick and greasy although it was very flavour...
This was my first time eating here and I'm not sure why all the negatives review? We had a great experience here! It's just what you would expect to get at a pizzeria. <br/ <br/ We got the arancini to start off with which were delicious and took no time at all to come out. The pizza was made really well, not too thin and crust was light a fluffy . The pasta with the puttanesca sauce was full of flavour!!! We were very happy with our meals <br/ <br/ We had such a lovely waitress also, she was so attentive and friendly! The overall atmosphere was relaxing (not crowed and overly noisey) and the interior had a cosy feel to it! We will definitely be going back to eat here
I have dined at this restaurant countless times and the food coming out of the kitchen is amazing. Most of the pasta is homemade and they also feature a new vegan menu with delicious dishes such as vegan/vegetarian lasagna, vegan arancini, and my personal favorite, vegan gnocchi with basil pesto and cherry tomatoes. You can tell that the chef puts a lot of pride into their work as every meal I have had just melts in your mouth. The pizzas are also exceptional, with thin crusts and a wide variety of delicious flavors. In my opinion, you won't find better Italian food within a 40km radius. I tried the Linguine Pescatore and Milanese dishes at this restaurant and it is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The pasta was incredibly flavorful and the portions were generous. However, like some other reviews mentioned, the wait for the food was quite long. The waitresses were very apologetic about the delay, which was appreciated. If you're looking for a delicious Italian meal and don't mind a bit of a wait, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
beautiful food always and the staff are so helpful and courteous my only criticism is the seating, the chairs are so damn uncomfortable ! I know only a petty comment but tonight although the atmosphere and food was great I couldn't stay for dessert and coffee as my family and I were just too uncomfortable
This restaurant offers fantastic authentic Italian pizza in a hidden location near the Peninsula Link trail. The pizza bases are thin and crispy, with generous portions that can easily be shared. They also have a cozy couch area where you can relax with a coffee or affogato (with a shot of liquor).
