I couldn't help but notice how dirty the kitchen area looked as well. It's unacceptable for a restroom to have waste on both the toilet seat and the floor! Additionally, the restroom had large, sunken tiles that were broken, which poses a safety risk for everyone. The waste bin was overflowing with dirty fabric and paper towels, and the sink was filthy. It's surprising that a place like this could compare poorly even to a Walmart restroom.
I didn't even use the restroom after seeing it, and my companion came back feeling just as disappointed. This restaurant is really not up to standard. Having worked in maintenance for years, I can confidently say that no restroom should be in such a state...
I noticed that this place was quite busy on the Friday after Thanksgiving, so I decided to check it out on Saturday morning. The atmosphere was decent, although it felt a bit warm inside. I ordered a simple cheese omelet served with hash browns and raisin toast. The omelet was generously filled with cheddar cheese; while it wasn't my personal favorite, I'm not sure if there were other cheese options available, as no alternatives were offered. The hash browns were really good—crispy outside and tender inside. I enjoyed the coffee, and the service was outstanding; our waitress was very friendly. If you're not too hungry, you could easily share this dish.
In fact, I would venture to say that even Walmart has cleaner restrooms! Although I didn’t use it myself, my friend returned and described just how terrible it was. Having worked in maintenance for many years, I know that no restroom should ever reach such a state. It was frustrating to have a disappointing breakfast, only to find the restroom in such disarray afterward. I pointed out the issues to an employee politely, but there’s truly no excuse for such neglect.
Dear health department, I hope you take note of these serious cleanliness concerns.
I had high hopes for this lovely little restaurant, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. The food was good, and the service was decent, but the atmosphere was quite bothersome. There were children running around, screaming and weaving between tables, and one child was even chasing another with a fly swatter in hand. It was really distracting. When I brought this up to the owner while paying my bill, she just laughed it off. I won’t be coming back!

My friend and I had breakfast here, and it was one of the best restaurant breakfasts I've experienced in Mount Dora, where I've lived for over three years. I can't believe I hadn't discovered it sooner! The beef brisket and the hash browns were excellent, and my friend raved about their eggs, saying they’re fantastic! She always evaluates a good breakfast spot based on their eggs. I will definitely be returning!
I was so excited to eat there. Very disappointed! The food was good, the service was decent, but the kids were walking around screaming through the table every one child chased another child swinging a fly everywhere disgusting. And when I paid my bill and told the owner about it, she just laughed. I'll never be back!
Great diner with delicious and reasonably priced food! I had breakfast there with my dad, and we cleared our plates completely. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy. It's an excellent place for a casual breakfast, though be prepared for it to get busy.
What a fantastic café with incredible food and service! My family and I discovered it after a long scout camp at Dora. We really enjoyed the breakfast— the eggs were fluffy and full of flavor. The hash browns and homemade fries were also excellent. We'll definitely return next time we're in town!

Clearly a local favorite! We tried to dine here last weekend, but the place was packed. So, we got up early enough to secure a table and we were not disappointed. The breakfast prices are standard, but the food was incredibly delicious—served quickly and with friendly service. Highly recommended!
