The food is great, and the service is outstanding! We've visited a few times, and although each time we have a different server, they have all been friendly and attentive. There's this incredible spicy green sauce that I always forget the name of, but it's absolutely delicious! My son is a huge fan of their steak laredo and always finishes his plate when he orders it. We're from California, and while it's not quite the same as what you’d find there, just be aware of that before you go in.
The Mexican food here is quite good. Happy hour is available from 4 to 7 on weekdays, featuring a nice variety of drinks and some food options. Our meals arrived promptly and were enjoyable. Since it wasn't very crowded when we got there, I believe that enhanced our experience. If you're in the area, I recommend giving it a try. Keep in mind that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to Mexican cuisine, so it might differ from what you're accustomed to!
We had a party of eleven celebrating a birthday with a Sunday lunch. The staff was very accommodating, rearranging and setting up tables for us on the outdoor patio in the shade. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Our group ordered a variety of dishes, ranging from omelets on the brunch menu to fajitas and salads. Everything was served professionally. The margaritas are enormous! I highly recommend this place!
My wife and I are big fans of Mexican food, so we decided to give this place a shot! We have no regrets at all, except for not visiting sooner. The customer service was outstanding, and the food was even better. From the chips and salsa to the main course, every bite was full of flavor. I absolutely loved it! We decided to stop by while waiting for our car at Costco, and it turned out to be a great choice. There were plenty of tables available, and we were served some amazing chips and salsa to start. I noticed that the prices for the food are lower compared to other Mexican restaurants, yet the portion sizes remain generous!
This restaurant has incredible salsa, making it our favorite spot for Mexican cuisine. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. I highly recommend the enchiladas, along with a side of chips and salsa, and the guacamole.
The best Tex-Mex restaurant in the area! In addition to a wide variety of food options, they also have a great bar menu. The outdoor seating is well shaded during the summer, making it one of my favorite places to eat in Springfield.

I can't say enough good things about Dos Amigos! Every visit and carryout order has been a perfect 10/10. Their fried ice cream is absolutely delicious!
