Nice atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service. I ordered The Bronco A tamale, enchilada, and taco with rice and beans. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. I really liked the rice; it was typical Mexican rice, but different enough from others to stand out. My tamale was big, and the chili sauce on top was very good. The only con was the chips. They were thin and crispy, which I like BUT they were SO greasy. The grease was almost dripping off! So much that the grease flavor over powered the chip flavor. This is a place where my parents often humiliated, and I went for the first time in about 10 years or so yesterday. The Queso was delicious (I am not 100% sure whether it was made in the house) and I ordered the Steak Fajita Nachos, and that were also really good! I remember getting the combo fajita Nachos back with chicken and steak, and they were really good! Here’s a tip: If you order the nachos and end with Leftovers, ask for a bag of fresh chips before you leave so that you’re chips that are not soggy to pick up your nacho-toppings!
Disappointed salsa tasted more like puree tomatoes. The queso is canned and not freshly made. Small portion and big price.Disappointed that grilled chicken fajitas didn't taste grilled(neither vegetables or meat had a grill char on them) Therealways room for improvement. Took 15 minutes to get a brownie with scoop ice cream. Because our waitress was sitting in a boothnear us talking with customer talking. Then they charge you a fee for using bank card over cash. Consumer pays credit cardfee...poor experience.
I had the chicken gorditas which were pretty good. But none of my food or the plate was hot. The plate was room temperature and the food Just kinda warm, which is unusual for Mexican food. My friend got the 3 Enchiladas plate, and needed his knife tocut them. I think they'd been under a heat light or in the oven a LONG TIME. He was taking Tums all night long. Not good, nexttime I'll go to Spicy Mexico
I love love love this place! I go there every time I go to Bowie, if they're open, and have for years. The hot sauce is amazing. I bring it home and add to other meals sometimes. Best Mexican restaurant around this area.
Dos Chilies always does a good job with her TexMex kitchen. Great local atmosphere combined with a converted look is fun for the family. The grilled chicken salad on spinach was refreshing!
Beans and Chicken Gorditas were OK. The beans did not have much flavor amd the Gorditas corn tortillas were hard and not a lot of flavor. I've had other items on the menu that were better.
First time there. Came out of town for a football game. I heard they were good! Will come back sometime soon! Even if 45 minutes away from where I live!
First time to visit. Excellent food, prompt and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
