Expectations. Often our expectations our unrealistic and as a result we go into a situation with certain expectations. If I had those going into Dosa 24 this probably wouldn't be a 5 star review. I waited an extra 20 minutes, in a restaurant that was warm even to my so-cal liking, and in the end they didn't have my entire order. HOWEVER all that being said the host continually checked on me and my food and the chef was so upset about not having my dessert he threw in 2 others to make up for it. It was past 9pm on a TUESDAY and this place was hopping. In the short span that I was there they put out food for at least 6 other orders. Just went here tonight for food. This place is one of those sites where multiple restaurants appear online for one kitchen. It is located in English Creek Shopping Center inside what one would think is the second floor of the professional offices part of the building. Kind of interesting getting there, but seems fine once inside. I ordered a masaIa dosa over the phone. The food was pretty good though it made my stomach a bit uneasy. The box the food came in had greasy finger stains, which gave me pause about their quality control. Their website priced the item at 11.95, but I was charged 14.35. I asked about this and was told that they had 3 interfaces and were trying to get them updated. He...
We visited this restaurant last Sunday, and overall, the food was quite good. After enjoying our meal, we decided to order a few additional dishes. However, we had to wait an hour for our order. The person taking our order eventually returned and informed us that our food would be packed to go. We had ordered three dishes, but only two were provided. When we inquired about the missing item, we were told that a refund would be processed. To date, we have yet to receive the refund for the dish we did not get. I've never encountered a restaurant that sends customers away while they are still waiting for dine-in orders.
Dosa 24 can be a bit tricky to locate due to its location, but once you arrive, you'll be impressed by the quality of the food they offer. My girlfriend, who hails from Kerala in South India, gave this place a perfect 10/10 rating. The ordering process is quick and straightforward, and our food was served hot and delicious. We took two dosas to go for our trip back to NYC, and they were still fantastic the next day. I will definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant every time I'm in Atlantic City. It can be a bit challenging to locate, as others have mentioned, but the food and customer service were exceptional! We tried four different types of dosas, and they were all perfectly made—delicious and crispy. The Mysore bondas were delightful as well! The sambar had a homemade taste that was truly satisfying. I highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic South Indian cuisine.
I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Dosa 24. We ordered the Masala Dosa, a thin lentil crepe filled with spiced potatoes. It was bursting with flavor and not too spicy (if you prefer something spicier, go for the Mysore Masala Dosa). We also tried the Chicken 65, which was delicious and had a unique flavor, although it was slightly spicy. I highly recommend this place!
I had a wonderful experience at a cloud kitchen in Egg Harbor Township. It's located in a ShopRite mall and has a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal. The owners were incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic. They even took the time to come over and check on us to make sure everything was to our liking. I will definitely be returning!
