I've visited Doubledave's Pizzaworks multiple times, and each visit has been worse than the last. This time was especially disappointing. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My experience on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30 was terrible. The pizza was dried out, there were dead bugs on the floor near the bar, and only two staff members were working. One of them seemed sick and was even dozing off while standing. I will definitely not be returning. Save your money and go elsewhere!
We dined there for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet many tables were dirty. There were no clean forks or napkins, and the selection of pizzas was limited. Throughout our visit, the pizza was never replenished, and there wasn’t even a single dessert pizza available. Let’s face it—the main appeal of DD is the chocolate chip pizza. Overall, it was disappointing and felt like a waste of our money.
We came for lunch on a Sunday. It wasn?t crowded, but many of the tables had not been bussed. There were no clean forks, no napkins and not very much pizza to choose from. They never replenished the pizza the entire time we were there and there was nodessert pizza at all. And let?s be honest, the reason to come to DD is the chocolate chip pizza. It was disappointing and awaste of our money.
We were the only customers in the restaurant. No one cleaned these tables the entire time we were there. Floor dirty, table sticky. Loud music that was thankfully turned off. Really disappointing. We?ve always liked DD. The meatball sandwiches were pretty good and the only reason I?m giving a star. We will go to Round Rock for DD and get our pizza in Waco elsewhere. This was my first time at Doubledave's Pizzaworks, and I highly recommend everyone to stop by and try the lunch buffet. Everything was fresh, hot, and the pizza was incredibly soft and flavorful. The dessert was also fantastic. The staff was very friendly, and there was even a salad bar. Pizza lovers definitely need to check this place out—I loved it!
Our first visit to Doubledave's Pizzaworks was disappointing; the menu options were limited and the pizza tasted unusual. There are definitely better pizza choices in Waco. Even on a Sunday, there were only about three or four items available. I wouldn't order takeout because the flavor just seemed off. However, the salad was amazing!
Our first experience was to bad, just didn?t care for the options. It also tasted weird. There?s better pizza options in Waco! There was like 3/4 options( also it?s a Sunday) I wouldn?t even order to go because the taste was just off. But the salad!! Itwas so goooddd!!!!
Ordered delivery and when we got the food the pizza topping literally just fell off. The middle was soggy and the stuffed pepperoni bread sticks were hard and didn?t seem like there was any cheese in them. So not worth $44!!!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
