Sonntag Morgen. Nachdem wir unser Mietwagen ohne Vögel abgeworfen haben, wandern wir aus und entscheiden sich dafür, nach einem schnellen Brekkie zu suchen. Macca ist irgendwie ausgeschlossen. Es ist auch ein Nein für einen langen entspannten Brekkie. Wenn wir auf dem Weg zum dodgy Ende von Kings Cross gehen, um 10 Uhr morgens gehen wir an Douce Frankreich vorbei. Viele, die dort sitzen und ein kleines kleines Café sitzen. Wir bestellen für eine SKIM-Mütze für den Imbiss und einen Schinken- und Käse-Croissant. Sunday morning. After dropping off our rental car at No Birds, we wander out and decide to look for a quick brekkie. Macca's is kinda ruled out. Its also a no for a long relaxed brekkie. As we walk towards the dodgy end of Kings Cross, at 10 in the morning, we walk past Douce France. Loads of people seated there and small little cute cafe. We order for a skim cap for takeaway and a ham and cheese croissant. We settle into the comfy couches as we wait for takeaway. As we wait, we are tempted by the thin eclairs kept in the showcase with different layers os chocolate on top.

Schönes kleines Café mit gutem Kaffee und dem besten Croissant, das ich in Australien hatte. Selbst gemachter Marmelade war auch delisch. Und jetzt gehe ich aus, um die Kuchenauswahl zu überraschen!
Lovely little cafe with good coffee and the best croissant I've had in Australia. Homemade jam was delish too. And now I'm off to raid the cake selection!
