My husband took me out for breakfast, and it was an absolutely excellent choice. The restaurant is small and charming, with a tasteful ambiance that adds to the experience. There's a delightful buzz of excitement and tempting aromas in the air. The lively conversations and friendly staff make you feel right at home, and our waiter, Mark, was particularly dedicated and knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently answered all of my many questions. It truly felt like having breakfast in my grandmother's kitchen. The prices were great, and the food was delicious, featuring organic options that made the meal even better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Great place with nice decor, friendly and efficent service and delicious breakfast/brunch &lunch plates, sandwiches and salads etc. The eggs Benedict and the French toasts were delicious. Make sure you try the home fried potatoes. Bacon is also very good. The place closes at 2h00pm and has a full bar andserves cocktails, mimosas, etc. Charmant restaurant servant déjeuners, brunches et lunches jusqu'à 14h00. Menu inclus sandwiches et salades. Les oeufs Bénédictins et le pain doré étaient délicieux. Essayez les patates frites maison(home fried potatoes). La place possède un bar et sert de l'alcool, cocktails, mimosas, etc.
The food is amazing! The pancakes aren 't too heavy like a lot of breakfast places. Cute rustic decor that seemed to be a cross between country and '50s diner. I enjoyed my first visit here with a friend from out of town and would highly recommend it to others. Having worked in foodservice, my only complaint would be that the staff need to be more conscious of sanitary cleaning habits. Cleaning rags used on chairs shouldn 't then be used on table tops vice versa. And please, wash your hands after sneezing!
Wow, what a delightful surprise during our trip through Boston on our way back to Canada! I enjoyed the Big Southern Peace Chicken, which came with perfectly cooked greens and beans. My child ordered a side of mac and cheese that was incredibly creamy and delicious. The chicken and waffles were also fantastic—generous portions with an amazing sauce drizzled on top. I never expected to discover such incredible southern comfort food in a small town in Vermont. Excellent job!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The warm and friendly welcome set a positive tone right away, and I really appreciated the decor. Our waitress, Ruby, was attentive and offered great recommendations. Lunch was excellent; there were four of us, and we each ordered something different, all of which we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this place!
Very nice place for breakfast/braun. The menu is southern inspired and offers many hearty and sweet options. The local potatoes were heavenly soft inside and crispy outside. I liked the homemade granola, with an additional side of corn bread. Overall satisfied with this restaurant.
Found the best Chicken Waffles I have ever had in the most unexpected place, Montpelier, VT. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant itself was very nicely decorated. I can't wait to go back and try a few different things.
