This place has some solid options, especially the hot food bar. However, I would steer clear of Joe's soups. My main issue is that the prepared food portions are very small and quite pricey. I can't justify spending nearly $8 for a tiny tuna niçoise that’s mostly just celery, parsley, and onions. Even the small desserts cost over $6. They do have a good selection of gluten-free items. I agree with previous reviews about some of the staff being less than friendly; they seem to lack the social skills to engage with customers. Given that they are well-compensated and receive excellent benefits, I would expect the management to hire individuals who are more approachable and have great personalit...
This is the best local co-op! I’ve been a member for years, and even though I’ve tried other co-ops, none of them compare to HM. I really appreciate the support they give to our local farmers and small businesses. The production department is fantastic, and I’m impressed by the wide variety of gluten-free products available. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. Although I don’t live as close as I used to, I still make the trip to shop here.
The salad bar is excellent, but the hot food selection is even better, catering perfectly to vegans and vegetarians. I especially enjoy the rice with marinated tofu and steamed greens. They also offer roast potatoes and garlic cauliflower; while the sides change regularly, they almost always have the delicious tofu and rice available.
As mentioned in those reviews below, this is a co-op (also opens to non-member) selling food and with food ready to go. The vege lasagna we had was really good. You pay the price by weight. We had some salads as well and it all made up around 9 dollars. Good price!
There were plenty of meat options available, but they also offered a few vegan and vegetarian choices, which were surprisingly delicious. The sandwiches were quite unique and tasted great as well. The prices were reasonable, especially for a co-op.

great salatable, but even better hot diner offers vegan and vegetarian. esp3cially love the reis with marinated tofu and steamed greens.
It's great to see that water is provided with glasses in the dining area. There's minimal waste, which is a big plus.
