We made reservations for brunch and were seated at a nice booth. Our waitress was frankly borderline rude and cranky. The food was sub par. For 3 omelets and an egg, bacon and hashbrown breakfast, along with 4 coffees, our bill was $85. That’s insanely high for breakfast, but especially a breakfast that was not good quality or good tasting. After my husband experienced a very unimpressive social engagement here for work a few months back, we not be back.
Downtowner is always a favorite. The atmosphere is great, I’ve never had it feel too crowded or too loud, and the food has never failed to be fantastic. Waitstaff was very impressive when asked how I wanted my steak, I asked for between medium rare and medium, and our waitress said “medium rare plus, got it.” I love the fact that is an option, and the kitchen 100% nailed it!
Had a very nice time at The Downtowner. The restaurant was very clean, quiet, and welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly and polite, our beef tenderloin was excellent, the food arrived hot, and it was such a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy an evening out with friends.
Nice choice of breakfast entrees at reasonable prices and good portions. Fun back to the 60s supper club feel. We enjoyed the pianist choice of music. We would go back!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Excellent food and service! This was my first visit here and I will definitely be back. The chicken pear salad was delicious.
Waiter was very knowledgable. Had a great variety of gluten free and gluten friendly food. Loved the atmosphere.
