I probably order a meal from here 3 weeks out of 4 which might say more about me than it does about Dragon City. The food is always of good quality and the service is excellent. They work hard and as a small independant it is good to support them. The front waiting area could definately do with a spruce-up but apart from that it is difficult to think of a criticism and as I always phone it through I rarely wait more than a minute. If your looking for a Chinese take-away that is easily accessible with regular quality food then this is the one.
I have been having takeaways from Dragon City for over 30 years, you wouldn't do that if it wasn't worth it. The food is ready in 10 mins and is always fresh and hot, plenty of choice and I have tried loads of different dishes. My favourites are crispy duck, Singapore Vermicelli, and Fillet steak Cantonese style, all are delicious. They don't deliver and they don't take cheques or credit cards, but believe me they are worth the small inconveniences. Give them a try.
I've been visiting this takeaway since I was an apprentice 30 years ago it's been run by the same family the food has always been outstanding, and when ever i am in Manchester this is on my itinerary. Strangely they don't open on a Friday or Saturday at the moment i believe for family reasons so keep that in mind
This takeaway has been here as long as I can remember and it still has the same owner which in my books means they are doing something right! I have been going here for a number of years and the food and service has always been very good. The only that let's it down is the waiting area please do something with the seating and heating in the winter months but at the end of the day we go for the food nothing else
The food here is really nice, cheap and cheerful. The owner is very friendly and approachable. It's set in a good accessible area where parking is not an issue. This place is an independent company and deserves to be praised more often.
I have used Dragon City takeaway for over 40 years and the food is always well prepared and tasty. Portion sizes are generous and filling and there is a large choice of dishes to suit everyone.
