The menu had so many different flavours of ice cream and the vegan and gluten free options were clearly marked. Update: Doug and Betty's has recently expanded their selection of vegan ice cream options. On my most recent visit, they offered a total of 10 vegan ice cream and sorbet flavors. If you are looking for vegan meal options, the choices are more limited. They have a clearly labeled vegan hot dog and occasionally offer vegan soup, but other vegan dishes are not clearly marked on the menu. I believe this restaurant offers the best vegan ice cream in the city. While I wish they had more flavor options, the ones they do have are thoughtful and delicious.

I really enjoyed the coconut chocolate fudge and oreo desserts, but the vegan cookie dough was lacking in flavor. It was overly sweet and didn't have much taste.
