Dumpling Dumpling - Tisch reservieren

We came into Dumpling Dumpling at lunchtime on a Saturday. We ordered some beef dumplings and were told they weren't available. It's unbelievable that you can't order dumplings from a place called Dumpling Dumpling. The server then explained that he couldn't let us order dumplings since they would have to cook our order and there were too many orders already. I've never heard such nonsense. Looking around the room, there were only four other tables occupied. Don't know why these guys are in business.

Average. The dumplings are pre fried and sitting in a bay marie - I thought these would be for takeaway and as I was dining in they would be fresh but I was wrong. Dough was ok, nice and crisp and surprisingly not dried out. Filling was mostly carrot and lacking in filling and also in flavour. My dining companions pork dumplings were very dry. Service was friendly but I would not bother returning.

Tried the spicy chicken noodle soup --- it tastes bland. Ordered the pork chop and egg rice dish --- didnt like the strong oyster-bbq sauce-ish sauce.

The food is always cooked fresh and the servings are very generousThis is a very casual joint and sometimes hard to get a table at peak times.
