My daughter and I had lunch at Dumplin's yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans, and everything was perfectly seasoned—not too salty, which is something I often encounter elsewhere. My daughter ordered the same meal but swapped the green beans for black-eyed peas, and she said it was absolutely delicious, even better than many home-style restaurants in Nashville. The rolls were amazing, especially with the strawberry butter. We were too full to try dessert, unfortunately. Our waitress was very polite and attentive throughout our visit. I would definitely give this restaurant a 5-star rating.
This is the 3rd time I have had the pleasure of going to Dumplins and as always they didn't disappoint. I don't live in Jackson but have accounts that I will cater lunch to in Jackson and every time I can I use Dumplins. I have had something different each time to eat and everything I have had has been delicious! The salads, sandwhichs and wraps are wonderful! Of course the rolls with the strawberry spread is to die for and the cakes (especially the strawberry cake) some of the best cakes I have ever had. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back and can't wait to try something else on the menu!
Without a doubt my favorite place to eat lunch around Jackson! The food and service are both always excellent. All of the employees are so nice speak even if they aren't your waiter/waitress. Dumplin's never disappoints and I highly recommend you check them out!
There aren't enough positive things to say about this wonderful place. Service, food quality, management and employees are all spectacular. It's consistently good, and I know because we are there a LOT!! It's fabulous!

We absolutely love this place! The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. The red velvet cake was hands down the best I've ever had! We will definitely return!
The food was delicious, and as always the cake was out of this world. You cannot forget the rolls with the strawberry butter. Yummy. Wonderful place to eat and reasonably priced too.
Dumplin's is an outstanding restaurant! The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the food is top-notch. I especially love their crab salad sandwich—it's delicious!
