This is the only Romanian restaurant in SoCal. Menu is small but everything was fresh. They don’t have vegan/vegetarian options in their grill hot main entrees. The owner prepared a special plate with some vegetarian appetizers. The eggplant and beans dips were delicious. The bread served is not tasty at all. To eat there was quite expensive especially for the special plate. Instead of making a normal prize for it we paid for each item. We only discovered at the end. The food at this restaurant offers authentic flavors and simple dishes with a homemade feel. However, during our first visit, we found that everything was overly salty, including the soup and meats. Despite requesting for less seasoning on the meat due to sharing with a child, the server assured us it would be okay, but it was still too salty in the end. The restaurant was not busy during the week and did not seem to be in high demand. However, the menu offers something for everyone and provides a nice cultural variety for customers to try. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were rated a 3 out of 5.
For a true Romanian experience in the USA, be sure to order the mixed plates at this restaurant! The only thing missing for a perfect score of 5 in food is bread. We were able to find parking in the back, and the service was prompt. This is a great spot for a dinner meal, with prices ranging from $50-$100 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 4. Recommended dishes include the Mixed Grill and Mixed Plate. The only downside is that parking can be somewhat difficult to find, but there is a free parking lot available.
This restaurant offers top-quality, delicious, and authentic Romanian cuisine. It is a must-visit whenever I am in California. The Romanian hospitality is exceptional, making you feel right at home. I highly recommend it! The service, food, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. Recommended dishes include the Mixed Grill, Meatball Soup, Sarmale Mamaliga Mici, Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Sarmale in Varza, Papanasi, and Skinless Sausages Mititei. Plenty of parking is available for free in the parking lot.

The chef smokes and does not wash his hands before preparing meals. The owner also has a bad attitude when explaining the menu and the utensils are not cleaned properly, with crud from the last dish still on them. They went through three different sets of utensils and even offered to wash them myself to ensure they were clean, but still had a bad attitude about it.
Amazing food, tastes just like in Romania....all I wish they had the mustard they use in Romania.....aside from that good food. The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! We ordered the beef tripe soup, pork schnitzel, and grilled ground meat rolls, and all of them were delicious and authentic.
