Parking lot is a nightmare. Worse still was the service. I went inside. Ordered a coffee and some food. Got my coffee. Stood there for upwards of 5 minutes while everyone who ordered after me got their beverages and food. A young man behind the counter asked if I had received my food. I explained I had not. He spent several minutes looking for it. Found it... a young lady working was holding my bag of food, and had been the entire time while she was screwing around and chatting with her coworkers. However, when I used the app to place my order, the price didn't reflect the free coffee offer, and I was charged $4.29. The staff member assisting me was very nice, but when I asked the manager for a refund, she initially couldn't help because there was no manager on site—only team members working. It didn’t seem right that I couldn’t get my refund since I was charged incorrectly. While I was waiting, another employee with pink hair mentioned that there were other customers behind me and they couldn't process my refund right then. It took so long to get our food in the DRIVE THROUGH. We asked for 2 bagels with STRAWBERRY cream cheese and a strawberry frosted donut they didn?t have any so I asked for a vanilla frosted they didn?t have any so I asked for a glazed. When we got to the window he said there was no glazed donuts (even though the lady said they did) so we just got the bagels, when we FINALLY got the stuff the order was wrong so we went back and I asked for the change and she told me that they gave us the last plain bagels so I just asked for my money back. I?ve never been to a Dunkin Donuts that doesn?t have donuts or plain bagels. Very upset that my time was wasted.
I would give 0 stars if it let me. The people here are so wonderfully sarcastically nasty, I wonder if they get paid extra for that The donuts have friendly flies that hang around for entertainment There is a constant battle of what employee can gossip the most and if they do it on the phone while behind the counter it's even better The bathroom is usually shaded a dull but full color of brown And if you are lucky you can get a blood transfusion from the toilet paper roll that these employees are so busy with the above statements they dont have time to swap it out. I work right on the road that leads to this coffee shop, and I've attempted to stop by for coffee at 7:50 on two separate occasions, only to find it closed. I understand that people want to go home, but closing the doors ten minutes before the stated closing time is confusing and frustrating.
I just want to give a compliment to the staff here at 12 boston post rd in west haven. service is always good, personal are friendly, and they always get my order right. Even if it is busy, the employees are patient and have positive energy I appreciate. many thanks!
I go here every day before and after work . The workers are fast friendly and helpful... Most of the time they are accurate with orders. They all know me because I always order the same drinks for my husband and I . It is nice to be remembered..
