We are and have been regular customers at the Wildwood and Fairview Dutch Bros in Boise since it first opened. We go in at least 5 days a week, sometimes more. For the most part it has been good and we know many of the staff by name. On Saturday June 4 we stopped with our grandchildren. When informed that the order was wrong instead of correcting it the employee became defensive, rude and loud. When asked for the forgotten drink she started yelling and became accusatory. This dutch bros location is the absolute best at being incompetent. Yesterday I spent nearly 30 minutes in their drive thru despite being the 3rd car in the second lane and there were 3 cars in the main lane. The runner chose to take all the main line customers until 2 cars that showed up after I did had already left she finally took the order of the car I front of me. When she came to take my order I was polite until she had the nerve to ask why she wasn't getting a tip. I explained what she did. I came in specifically ordered a carmalizer freeze for my boss and asked for white milk instead of chocolate milk. I showed the lady the sticky note and told her it was for my boss so it has to be with white milk. She told me she would have to see what to do and her boss came to the window and explained what to do to make that happen to the lady that took the order from me. This Dutch Bro?s Coffee sucks. They got my order so wrong. They were not busy. I was the only car in line. I had to repeat my order 3 times before they heard what I was saying because their music was so loud. I ordered ONE THING and they got it wrong. I ordered a large iced mocha with coconut. I received a large iced coffee with absolutely zero sugar and zero coconut flavoring. It?s not hard to make this drink. I used to be a barista at a coffee shop so I know how easy it is. That?s why I?m leaving a one star review. I would have turned around and made them remake it but was already halfway home. I left a tip and now I wish I hadn?t.
I hate to complain, but this is by far the worst dutch bros in the treasure Valley as far as service. Get ready to spend at least 10 minutes to get a coffee. Burnette girl on 9/12/23 around 7 a.m. Just spent more than 5 minutes talking to a regular as there were well over 10 cars In line waiting to get their order taken. I ended up leaving and drove to the one on Orchard. Seems like dutch is aware of the service being bad but nothing has changed. Lack in management and leadership I would say. Save your time and go somewhere else.
I love all Dutch Bros locations! The Overland location is always bustling but they are quick with service. The Chinden location is the friendliest, but that might just be because I frequent it the most. The Milwaukee location is also wonderful... actually, they all are great! If you bring your own mug, they offer a .25 cent discount on each refill, which adds up quickly. They also have stamp cards where you can buy 10 drinks and get the 11th free. #amazing!
Someone gave me a gift card here and even when it was free I didn 't like coming here. On top of low quality espresso and a sugary/fatty menu, it 's would you like to leave an optional tip? bleh. Even my kids don 't like it lol. I ordered two chocolate almond milks. Only one came with chocolate and neither was delicious. I would have turned around to have them correct it but the line is long and slow. If I could take my tip back, I WOULD!
One of my absolute favorite locations. They never hesitate with when we ask for a extra fancy coffee or kids cocoa; they are always so relatable friendly without going over board... The weekend staff ladies are my absolute favorite; their vibes are so chill, relaxed, relatable positive. They always change my mood with their good chill energy.
It?s usually a great place with good service and great coffee but when it says it opens at 5am and you drive by multiple times after 5am and 5:30am and it?s still not open it makes people who want to get coffee before work really sad.
