Still popular at lunch. We were in town at lunch time, and it had been a long time since last we dined at Earl's, so long in fact that they had renovated the dining room since our last visit. Still the same dark wood decor, but where the centre of the room had once been tables and chairs, they have now inserted a large block of booths. Fortunately they have not replaced all the tables with booths, since I do not fit well in most booths. We had the Sicilian Pizza, a wonderful, thin crust and wood fired creation, an order of calamari, and Leroy's Dry Ribs. My only concern was the calamari was lukewarm at best, and not very seasoned. The tzaziki dip was chilled and bland. The riblets were crisp...
last week was extremely disappointed by our meal. the service was very good, but as soon as we complained about our underoccupied lobster, everything changed. they told us that they would give my men free, but my husband has still paid for everything, but his underoccupied lobster. my. lobster was barely cooked. as a few seafood eaters we know how this should be prepared. for the cost of this we have expected so much more. get the burgers when you go. definitiw will not be visited again in this earls
my son ordered the kung pao chicken, the wife ordered curried prawns and I ordered Nashville chicken sandwich. The kung pao tastes totally burnt. My wifes thai prawn curry tastes nothing like curry. I am totally shocked. Our first time ordering from earls and cannot...believe that it is this bad. We ordered takeout and were there before it was done.
I went for a late night snack and was impressed with the delicious sweet potato fries, especially when paired with the garlic mayo. The spinach dip was also quite tasty. However, the shooters were disappointing in flavor. The service was friendly and attentive.
A few things. Number one. Calimari was not hot needed another 30 secs in the deep fryer. Everything was top shelf including their Dynomite maki is really great being it's Earls not a sushi place.Our waiter was also great the place was nice.
The food is decent and the servers are very young, but it's the summer atmosphere that keeps me coming back to this restaurant. Don't miss out on happy hour on the patio, with $2.75 drafts and tacos. What more could you ask for?
The staff is incredibly friendly, and super helpful whenever I need anything. Any modifications I ask for and cheerfully accommodated. I love how the managers check up on tables just to make sure everything going great!
wow, our most disappointing meal this year from any restaurant in the edmonton area. I could go on over my disappointing meal, but I won't. Maybe it was a free day, but it was a really free day.
Busy at lunch time and lovely having lunch on the patio but able to sit at a shady table. Service was fairly slow accordingly and the chicken wings were primarily good.
