We decided to try something different and wanted to see how Mr Mike's stacked up. Mr Mike's is conjoined to Hampton Inn suites. It has both a dining room and a lounge so you can choose which area you would like to sit depending on your mood. There is ample parking close to the entrance and all the spots are clearly marked. Upon entering Mr Mike's, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess and I was asked which area I would like to sit, the lounge or the main dining room. Wanted to try a new restaurant for my birthday today and had a couple of dishes nothing had flavor or taste was so disappointed and left still hungry. Had to buy my mom more food and I spent $150 at this place. Would not ever recommend this place to anyone plus the waitress didn?t even offer to take something out of the bill. So I was not offered any birthday dessert and if your diabetic u have no choice to eat some of the food so really I don?t appreciate mikes saying we ate all the food. All I know worse place to eat and the waitress wasn?t even great either. First time at Mr. Mike's although we have heard all about from relatives in BC. Attached to a hotel, parking was at a premium. We were seated and although the restaurant wasn't very busy when we first arrived tables began to fill up. Only a single waitress serving and she was impatient when we asked about different dishes on the menu. We started with the Hot Lobster Dunk. I would definitely order this again. Sirloin with Lobster Mac was deemed delish. Steak was perfectly cooked and tender and the lobster mac had plenty of lobster. It was lip smacking. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, and the decor was charming. The restrooms were the cleanest I've ever encountered, with a pleasant, fresh scent. As for the food, the chicken fingers were perfectly crispy, and our daughter loved them as part of her kids’ meal. We ordered Mike Burgers, which were outstanding. If you’ve had a Mike Burger before, you know they’re truly unique. They come on a garlicky baguette-style bun and feature a special sauce, which I always ask for extra because it’s so delicious. First time at Mr. Mikes and had their ?Super Summer Platter? and have to say I wasn?t impressed. The photo on the menu of the ?Super Summer Platter? looked much better than what I received. Pretty much I got four chicken strips, four small shrimp, and a few pieces of chewy steak for $29. Not impressed with the food but the staff gave great service. I heard good reviews on their steaks so I will probably go back and try again.
Most of the time is good but very disappointed. Ordered garlic fries as a side with my meal and my boyfriend got a whole order of the garlic fries. Came and they were bothe the same size....... I would have expected the whole order ti be larger since paid more for it.
I can't think of a better way to spend my afternoon. I'm enjoying a game of Battleship with my wife while we wait for the best fries in the world, paired with an incredibly delicious burger. If you're nearby, you should definitely come and check this place out!
It was my birthday, and it was a wonderful opportunity to introduce our family to this restaurant. It did not disappoint! The drinks were fantastic, and everyone loved their meals. We will definitely be returning.
The food was excellent, and the steak was cooked just the way I like it. The service was fantastic too. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area!
