I was honestly very disappointed with my experience. The woman who served us was rather rude, the wine list by the glass was average at best and significantly overpriced, and to top it off, there was an automatic 17% gratuity added to our bill. I usually tip 20% for good service, but this wasn’t even proper table service; we had to go up to order from her, and she was unhelpful and unfriendly. It feels unfair to be forced to tip when the service was lacking. A tip should reflect good service, and unfortunately, that was the last thing we received.
This charming little place has a wonderful ambiance and no frills. They offer an excellent selection of wines, and the music is just the right volume. The seating is comfortable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's a fantastic spot for a date, with cozy booths for groups and a nice bar top for solo diners.
The wine was excellent. However, when I requested a receipt to sign that included the tip, the bartender informed me that receipts weren't available. I noticed a drink tax was applied, but my credit card statement shows a higher total than what I expected. I feel misled by this experience.
I'm almost afraid to post this in case everyone starts going there, but Ebb and Flow is a fabulous little wine bar. My friend and I always pop over after an event at Davies Symphony hall. Great vibe, great wine. The cheese plates are totally fun with the frilly cheese.

Stopped by last night after dinner nearby for a night cap. The owner hyes was so kind and knowledgeable! Can’t wait to come back!

Cracking little by the glass wine list with plenty of funky little natural numbers. Enjoyed it very much

They have happy hour on Saturdays from 4:30 to 6 pm and a nice selection of wines.
