How a stay at an Inn should be and what I’d imagined. —— The atmosphere is very chill, friendly and come as you are. We felt very comfortable staying here. The rooms were spacious and very neat. Everything is provided and available. A lot of space to put away your stuff and suitcase, very nice carpet and the bathroom is modern. I must say, this was a bit pricier, but it is so worth it! We had a lovely meal in the restaurant below. The mussels were so juicy and well prepared. A good pick if you want to eat somewhere good, but still affordable.
Nice relaxed pub atmosphere without being noisy as it consisted of lots of separate rooms. Service was friendly and attentive. The scallops were well cooked but the accompaniments were a strange choice and didn't add anything. The calamari were delicious-perfectly cooked and in a lovely batter. Absolutely perfect! For main courses, the fish and chips was nice, with a well cooked fish and good batter. Not memorable in any way but certainly nice. A good local place to visit for some casual dining
We enjoyed a lovely vegetarian dinner here the dishes were amazing for vegetarians and were well thought through Vs some places who would just add a token vegetarian dish on the menu to make it friendly. We had the chickpea halloumi salad and the lentil sweet potato burger. Tasted of fresh ingredients and high quality food. The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight though! I don't want to eat it anywhere else now to spoil my experience. Edinbane Inn you've set the bar high!
We are staying nearby and had dinner here the last two nights. Excellent food, good sized portions, delicious beer. The staff are welcoming and give great service. I loved the venison burger the best. First burger in my life that I didn't want to add any condiments to, it was so delicious. My husband had a sauteed spinach dish with cheese and that was amazing too. We had a nice dessert also, the panacotta with berries was yummy.

This restaurant agreed as our safe port in the storm. Literally. It's hard to find restaurants ad hoc on Skye but this place had space for us. It was great food, the best service I had in Scotland, and the best Sticky Toffee Pudding too. While the rain outside came down in sheets, we enjoyed a nice meal in a confirmed place. What more can you expect?
Lovely modern room, bathroom was a standout for a Scotland Inn! It really had that inn feel with a modern twist. Second best breakfast we had over our 2 weeks (porridge was amazing!! , and the service was incredible, staff really made this a great place to stay :
This is for the restaurant only. They were able to squeeze us in without a reservation, which we were grateful for. The service and food were amazing. Fish and chips were fabulous as well as the sticky toffee pudding.
As we asked our landlady from Bernisdale, Isle of Skye, for a nice place to dinner she recommended us this uber-great place, the Edinbane Inn.
