I really enjoy the Steak Mexicano, mixed fajitas, shrimp chimichanga, carne asada, and carnitas at this restaurant. Even the fajita taco salad is delicious here. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. When there were two El Acapulco locations in Jonesboro, I only dined at this one. In my opinion, it’s the only authentic Mexican restaurant in town (TaMolly's doesn't count, folks! It's more of a blend of Tex-Mex, American, and upscale Taco Bell). Went there last night, wonderful meal. I’ve been there twice and although I don’t genuinely enjoy Mexican food, their rice is incredible and the shrimp is amazing (I’ve gotten both the spicy and the garlic and butter sauce, both are great) Plus I had the most amazing server, Katilyn, she was absolutely incredible. Always kind and got exactly what I wanted whenever I needed it, and she was so fun she introduced me to her coworkers! Excellent, excellent, excellent! I mean outstanding. Ordered the Burrito Grande- and it is grande! Asked for it to have ground beef rather than chicken or steak, they did it and everything in it was fresh and well seasoned. Excellent service too, and food came out extra fast. I don't usually do reviews on chain restaurants, but this one is worth it.
So many Mexican places I've been to in Northeast Arkansas cover all the food in some sort of cheese sauce that is terrible. El Acapulco was the first restaurant I've been to where I could get a nice chile verde dinner and the pork was crispy the sauce was on point and there was no cheese type sauce anywhere. Excellent food I recommend!

First time here with friends and family it was Amazing! I 'm from Texas and I 'm very picky. Last night I had a frozen Margarita it was made very well and strong! They also have this Awesome cheese sauce...their version on 'caso dip '! I will eventually be back! Worth every star!!
I hadn't visited this place since my teenage years. My parents used to take us frequently, and now I have the joy of bringing my own children. I truly love coming here. Perhaps I won't wait so long to come back next time. It's still the wonderful place I remember from my youth.
The gentleman was friendly and offered recommendations being it was our first time. The agua horchata was amazing so delicious, I've tasted many and this by far beats them all. Definitely come back. Service was great!!!
The food and atmosphere was awesome service was just as great. One recommendation would be to have a restaurant menu posted online, so that patrons can have an idea of what to order.

The atmosphere was great, nice and quiet very peaceful I enjoyed how nice the service was even though they messed up our order twice but over all I had a wonderful experience.
The server we had appeared to be new and nervous, but offered excellent service! Food was delicious! Good portions.
