The place recommended by a friend of Alicante was closed so I landed and stayed here because I found out that they do something quite unusual here in Spain: a paella for one. Most menus are really set up for groups with ‘raciones’ of everything. But if you are alone and want to try an authentic paella, this is your place. The service was also beautiful and they didn't give me a nice table with a view even though I was only one.
Loved the place, the aura and the food. The seafood paella was nice but the chicken paella was delicious. Grilled lobster was lovely but of course, it was very costly. We visited twice and the first time it was crammed with people, but the second time it was less busy. We had great attention on both occasions, it was a family friendly restaurant and I look forward to visiting again when I am next back in Alicante.
The best local experience you can get! Enjoy the food with a beautiful view of the marina. The grilled squid is such a pleasure, you will not find it better in other places. Paella is just delicious. Desserts are superb: Beautiful staff is a real bonus for this whole experience. This place is so good that we spent a long evening there and came back for lunch the next day.
Had Paella for two... Prawns were clearly not freshly cooked, freshly caught, or even freshly defrosted. Staff clearly did not care about this. I paid the bill and left but would never return...not that a tourist restaurant like this will care. Avoid at all costs. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We had a great paella, my girlfriend is Spanish and she agreed, and it was a little oily. 40€ with starter and a bottle of water seems reasonable
Excellent! Love this place, perfect setting overlooking the marina. Coldest beer in town (frozen glasses) great food, attentive staff.
Huge tuna steak and ice cold beer. Was a beautiful view of the harbour, where we were staying. Would recommend. Great service.
