We decided to try this restaurant based upon te reviews. My wife had the pizza margherita and I had the pasta carbonara since it's one of my favorite Roman dishes.It was terrible, the pasta carbonara was not done with the proper ingredients and was more like a saucy soup with cream. The pizza margherita was also done with improper ingredients and the dough was hard and cookie like, I guess they forgot the fiore di latte or the mozzarella di buffalo as the cheese of choice for a "real" margherita pizza. I do not recommend this restaurant for authentic italian food..
On the spur of the moment we decided to check this place out. We checked the reviews and it sounded like just what we were looking for.The reviews did not let us down. We just had a wonderful dinner. The food was great. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. Our server was great.Is is hard to believe that the restaurant was not packed. We will definitely be back.
This place is amazing! Everything is fresh! I have sulfite allergies and I have no worries when I go there. I brought my mother there for her 80th birthday pary. They set up a long table for us and we were all served at the same time. The pizzas dough is made fresh and cooked in open old time stone oven.
Tried out this restaurant with a couple of friends last week, we had some veal dishes and pizza. Wasn't impressed with the food but the service was good and friendly. For me that was the difference between a 2 and 3 star review . Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I chose to go to El Hornello for my birthday this year. It was a good choice. The ambiance is great, albeit it is a noisy restaurant. My pasta was perfect and so was everybody else's meal. We will definitely go again.
This is the best food out of all the surrounding restaurants. The dishes are incredibly fresh and prepared by a skilled chef. The staff is also top-notch and provides excellent service.
