As a student at Northeastern, I go here several times per week. They are one of the few places open late near campus in Boston. Open till 2 am, but i believe they will be open till 3 soon. Fantastic burritos, plenty of ingredients to pick and choose and customize your meal. One of the best things that you could add to your meal is their chipotle mayo, it's a nice way to add some spice that won't be too overpowering. The staff is very friendly and efficient at what they do.
This place is fantastic for a few reasons, it?s open for a good amount of hours (caters to the night owls as well). They have been a hunger savior many times when I?ve been up late. The food is flavorful, as someone who LOVES hot sauce, they certainly have an array of hot sauce for you to choose from if that?s your thing. They have churros that satisfy ones sweet tooth. I ordered a burrito from this restaurant and there was a human TOOTH in it. I almost bit down on it but thankfully I removed it from my mouth in time. Not only did I almost break my own tooth from biting down but I also almost swallowed it. I called the restaurant to complain and express my extreme distaste and they laughed and said they would have someone call me back in the morning. No one called. Do not eat at this restaurant!!! If I could give negative stars I would.
The look from outside might have been a red flag but talk about non-existent customer service... It was barely 630pm on a Saturday today...First, the lady taking the order was very confused when we were ordering things from the menu.Second, the guy that rang us up didn't speak much English (which is totally fine) but started being aggressive and yelling in Spanish when we asked for a side of sauce...Haven't even tried the food yet, but very off-putting experience. This is a fantastic spot for enjoying burritos and bowls. The prices are quite reasonable, and everything is well-cooked and incredibly tasty. A great bonus is that they're open until 3 AM, making it a perfect late-night option. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mexican food. You get a wide range of toppings and meat for one price. Excellent!
A recent addition, El Jefe?s Taqueria heats up the Mexican food competition on Huntington Ave near Northeastern University. I really loved their Veggie Quesadillas and you can?t go wrong when you pair it up with a Tamarind Jarritos. The costs are reasonable and I found the service to be better than a neighbouring Mexican outlet. Keep it up!
Impressive steak tacos at the burrito place! The ambiance had a gritty Gotham City vibe, and the crowd, mostly young, was a bit rowdy. Quaint decor, basic furnishings, and efficient chefs behind the counter. Despite the slow food delivery and a slightly high price, the delicious taste makes it worth the wait.
