I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The prices are great, and the service is both fast and friendly. Despite being busy with online pickup orders, they managed to keep things running smoothly. There are plenty of delicious options, both sweet and savory. I tried the carne frita with arroz gandules, which came in a generous, sturdy container—I definitely had enough for leftovers! Keep in mind there's a $10 minimum for credit card payments along with a 3.5% processing fee. They also have a convenient online ordering system. The decor is charming, with lovely artwork adorning the walls.
This is a fantastic authentic Puerto Rican restaurant! I absolutely love the “arroz con gandules” with “pernil,” and the “mofongo” tastes just like my grandmother's from the island. The “Jibarito Sandwich,” featuring roasted pork, lettuce, tomato, and cheese between two fried plantain buns, is simply delicious! I highly recommend the “alcapurria de Yuca”—it tastes just like the ones you’d find in Piñones, but even better! Don’t forget to try the “pasteles de guineo” and make sure to save room for dessert! The “flancocho” is my absolute favorite!
I made a catering order from them to be picked up at 6 pm on Saturday April 30th. The food was being packed when I arrived so I left to get some other stuff and came back. I feel like they have just got done cooking it. It was hot smelled amazingly delicious and the portions were omg. My family couldn’t stop raving and ranting about how good the food was. The food brought back wonderful memories of all the meals my mom used to make when I was a child, and it was truly excellent. The dishes are outstanding, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is precisely what you’d anticipate from an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. Genuine Puerto Rican eateries can be hard to come by, so finding this one was a real delight! If you’re in search of authentic and delicious cuisine, this place is a must-visit! Even my mom enjoyed it!
