If I pay for something, it is so that they give me what I asked for, not what the workers want to put on me.Yesterday I asked for 2 cholados and the worker told me that the cholados brought banana, strawberry, papaya, pineapple and kiwi, but when they gave me the 2 cholados it was only one filled with only pineapple and condensed milk and the second was pineapple and strawberry... but how do I go back to complain when I'm 20 minutes from the place. This restaurant used to truly deserve its name, "The Cholado Palace," but that’s no longer the case. The cholados and other desserts are now simply pre-made and stored, leaving an unpleasant taste after eating. Previously, they took the time to cut up fresh fruit right in front of you when you placed your order, which made the prices reasonable considering the quality. Now, however, the prices are just too high for what you get. Overall, it's a disappointing experience.
I wouldn't consider this place to be cool at all. I paid $10 for a dish that consists of ice, condensed milk, coconut, and two types of fruit. It's a total rip-off. It’s not even shaved ice because it lacks flavor; it’s just ice with some condensed milk on top. Surprisingly, it was packed with people making purchases.

Terrible. I used to go to this place years ago and it was the BEST. But I stopped going here after they raised the price of the cholados, and it just doesn’t taste the same. Literally ice and condensed milk, and the little fruit they put taste bland/probably frozen not fresh.
It seems like there’s been a change in ownership or something because the food doesn’t taste the same as it used to. The yellow milk is terrible, and the fruits are overly soggy. Overall, it lacks flavor and just tastes like low-quality condensed milk. I would rate it a 0.
These cholados are amazing! I travel from Brooklyn every weekend for my sweetheart, and they never let us down. The cholados are incredibly delicious, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended!
