Ordered two enchiladas one cheese, one beef with rice and beans and a margarita and when I got home 15 20 minutes later the food was all crumbled. The enchiladas were like and pieces like it was really old or frozen so I call the store and she said it was made fresh. This was the worst food I've ever had from a Mexican restaurant and I've eaten there before and not taking food out and it was delicious. But today this was really a waste of $35.. I called the restaurant and the woman that answered said it's made fresh but if it takes time to get home, the enchiladas crumble. I've never heard that in my life but okay..
I sat down and ordered a taco salad. I realize it's not traditional Mexican cuisine, but I enjoy the edible shell—essentially, it's just chicken in a bowl. Unfortunately, my experience was reminiscent of an episode of Bar Rescue, where the food comes frozen and straight from the freezer. The chicken was cold, as if it had just come out of the freezer. I informed the owner, and she kindly brought me some heated chicken, but by that time, my experience had already soured. If I don't feel valued as a customer by the owner, I have no interest in spending my money here.
A friend of mine who grew up in Pasadena took me to this restaurant, and I can confidently give it five stars across the board. We all ordered the same wet burrito, which was absolutely delicious. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the quality of the carne asada was just a four-star experience. However, the service was outstanding, and all our food arrived in under ten minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely eat here again. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
My family of three came here for lunch after an afternoon hike. They restaurant was very clean, even the bathroom! Which is always appreciated. Chips were great, and we all enjoyed our food! I ordered the two soft tacos meal. It was delicious! Ourserver was great
