I was looking for a new Mexican restaurant and think I have found one with El Sombrero! I ordered take out, however, the restaurant is spacious but cozy and next time I’ll be sitting down to eat! I ordered the Viking Burrito (which I thought was a weird name for a burrito), and it might have been one of the tastiest burritos I’ve had in the South Bay! Every flavor was pronounced, the citrus in the carnitas, the beans, the rice and the AMAZING green sauce to make it wet! Absolutely loved this burrito! Homemade chips and their salsa has a unique flavor and is delicious! On top of that, the front counter person was SUPER nice.
Attentive, courteous and prompt staff. Dark, dingy and dirty restaurant. Star rating reflects awful Mexican food. Tasteless refried beans, ground meat taco filling that looked and tasted like dog food. Enchilada sauce without any flavor at all. Warm chips that probably came from a bag. Decent salsa. Overall, terrible Mexican food. Either step it up or get out. Any review over 2 stars is highly suspect.

I can’t really recommend this place, unfortunately. I only saw Mexicans working in the kitchen (and serving as well), but the food was mediocre at best and tasted nothing like the food I had in Mexico. Tacos are not street tacos, but big American-style. I’d say look for another place and thank me later. ? Parking: There’s a lot in front of the strip mall, had plenty of available spaces.
Quick was the name of this five star.Quick seat for a Saturday night in this small little dig.Quick service with chips and salsa and drinks.Quick order taking.Quick food to table.But food didn't taste fast. It was great and my family of 6 was satisfied!(Chicken tortilla is one of my wife's favorites but she didn't care for this variation. Other than that, El Sombrero for a win.
Just to recommend, Great Mexican food, that's how you imagine it. Service was very nice and accommodating and the price received 5 out of 5 stars. Ambience cozy small, not the prettiest but impressive.
