The service at this restaurant is amazing. I tried the Cuban Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. It was moist, juicy, and very tasty. I also had a happy hour drink (Blue Hawaiian) which was really good as well. My friend ordered the chicken Mofongo and couldn't get enough of it. She loved it. The atmosphere of the place is welcoming, despite its small size. They also offer hookah, which appears to be well-prepared. I will definitely try it on my next visit. I will definitely be going back.
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this restaurant. The woman at the front was rude to me because she did not understand English, even though they are in New York operating a business. To make matters worse, she forcefully gestured towards the card reader and instructed me to scan my card as if I did not already know how to do so. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. Save your money and avoid coming to this place where the staff are miserable and impolite.
They over charge you i order 2 plates of 15 dollar each which it's 30 one sangria a sprite one water and a snnaper and 6 pastelillos the bill came to 129.09.dollars ..the two plates was 30.00 dollars sangria 9.00 plus 2.00 dollars sprite 4 dollar snnaper apple juice water 2.50 and each pastelillos 2.00 dollar was 6 pastelillos that come to 12.oo if i add all that come to 61.00 and including tax probably 75 dollars and tip 85.dollar total where they 129.00 dollars came place
I placed an order for a family-sized dinner at 7pm. The yellow rice was hard and the baked chicken was dry. The best part of the meal was the red beans, which is why I gave it 1 star. The meal did arrive in a timely manner, but for a 30% tip, they can certainly do better.

Make sure you are clear as to what you want because due to the language barrier (one of the female servers). I ended up with a family combo paying $30. The Pork Chops tasted strange but the rice was pristine. Shame on me but lesson learned.
The ambiance is very welcoming, the service is spot on and the food is absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone. It's a bit pricey for some items but it makes up in flavor.... Worth the visit.
The music is always too loud at anytime of day.The food is bland and they never have maduros. Only thing that I actually enjoy from here is the chicharrón de pollo.
