We ordered a few exotic dishes i.e. Seacumber, dong boa meat, pine nut fish, they all horrible. Seacumber was cold and tasteless. Dong boa meat was dry and hard as rock. Pine nut fish was greasy and not crispy at all. Peiking duck is superb as it's known for. Problem is that's the only thing is worth going for but others is worse than other places.
Finally used gift certificate and glad we dined there on Friday night. Pleasantly surprised for the happy hour was a bonus. Friendly attentive staff and manager/owners. Edamas were not that fresh. Overall, good food and cozy atmosphere.
After many years of visiting, this will be our final trip to the restaurant. With the change in ownership, it has turned into just another typical Chinese restaurant without any unique appeal. We will truly miss the old Elaine's.
The restaurant lost its liquor license two days before. The decor, which used to be cool and interesting, is gone. I don't know what happened to the restaurant . Food is still good but no ambiance and you have to byob. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I have been there before and it was good ,but this time they had no beef and anything I wanted with crab they did not have they only had powerderd crab ?????????????
We are Chinese, and we found the food overly salty with the soup served cold. There's no need to elaborate further; we won't be returning!
In the new establishment, the staff was attentive and polite. The prices were not very low, even for groups.
