Best malts, shakes anywhere. We were in town over the weekend and did not have time to enjoy a meal at Elliston Place, but we did have time to get a chocolate malt -- for me -- to go.
Hadn't been to Elliston Place in quite some time. Completely different staff of course. Younger. I went ahead and ordered my malt at a cost of around $5.50, including tax. I wrote in another review that I would never get a malt that cost $5, but in the case of Elliston Place, we'll make an exception!

We were so excited to come with our children. We came to Nashville for dinner on our way to Florida from Chicago, so it was a special stop for us. Our waitress began great; the place was busy and the service was slow, but she apologized and we thought we were for a contract. It took about 20 minutes until the root beer of our daughter came out and she forgot our appetizers. When we asked her, everything changed. Your demon became very defensive. She stopped checking us, didn't ask if we wanted anything else and when our other daughter wanted another burger, she was taken back and our daughter felt judged as if she wanted to eat too much. Our waitress asked the table behind us if they wished...
We came to the Soda Shop for breakfast before heading home to Chicago. We had our 18 mo old twins with us so we selected this place bc we were told it was kid friendly, and it certainly was. The staff was very friendly, the owner (or manager? came by our table just to say hi, and overall it felt very inviting. If you have young kids inviting is key! Not to mention the food was delicious and the malt I got to go was top notch. The staffing is excellent, and everything came timely and correctly. Next time I'm in Nashville I will be back! Thank you Elliston Soda Shop for a stress free and delicious breakfast before we drove home.
We stopped when we read that this was a great place to stop in Nashville. It started with our server, not knowing we were her table. Then we sat for 30 minutes without a sign from her. Crystal came by and took care of us. She was friendly, sympathetic and made sure we needed everything. She went beyond and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She took care of us so much. Crystal thanks for starting our vacation at the right foot.

We love to visit this restaurant The food is delicious the atmosphere is fun and the staff are super nice We celebrated my birthday, and it was a great evening that I love the key lime cake so that this was my dessert We will definitely love this place again really soon
Fantastic spot to meet up with friends who were new to Nashville and loved being able to choose breakfast all day or lunch! The fried catfish special was SO good, as was everything else we tried. Chocolate malt...best EVER!
Our first time at the soda shop and it was a perfect date night. We sat at the bar top and watched all the milkshakes and hot fudge sundays being made. The food was amazing and so were the desserts.
It was just okay. I had a salad that was good, and my husband and my children said that their burgers were nothing special.
