This is our very favourite Chinese restaurant in Perth. We've been coming here on average once a month for the last ten years and never had a bad meal. We chose the Emperor's Palace to entertain a group of interstate and local friends for dinner the night before our wedding (2 large tables of 10 people in the private room) and everyone loved the food and the atmosphere.The menu is varied enough to suit all tastes, but if you want to vary your choice, Gloria will always look after you. Ask her for extra king prawns in your special fried rice (you won't be disappointed) Also, on the plus side, the restaurant is not licensed so you can bring your own wine or beer, which is always our preference...
I have to say I do not live anywhere near this restaurant, we drove around 40km to get to it.There were 4 of us, the décor is classy and not over the top, The service was great.We chose 4 dishes and some fried riceThey were Honey King Prawns, Lemon Chicken, Sizzling beef, and a combination omelette.Simple, the food was to die for, it would be some of the best chinese food I have ever eaten.We were there about a year ago and the quality has stayed the same and it would need to be to drive around 40km to get there.We did not have dessert, did not need it. so I can't comment But in my view and I have eaten in many countries and we could not fault it.It is a BYO,
We went twice in a week......so we loved the sizzling beef dish and other beef, devoured the fried rice, sweet and sour and prawns were great, sizzling seafood was a big disappointment - not particularly well cooked. Also the ribs were poor in quality. Deep fried ice cream was bought in and the standard disappointing as my host expected it to be freshly made on site as it it had been before. Banana fritter was unimaginative but "worst dessert" award went to banana split. A split banana with a scoop of ice cream. No sauce, cream, nuts, nothing to adorn the naked banana . Should have photographed it!
We often pop in here for a quick dinner before work. We work down the road at night. The food comes out quick, is always tasty & fresh. I like this place because it has proper table cloths, you get prawn crackers to start without asking & water on table. It is clean has nice decor & is not expensive. It's not licensed but there is a liquor store next door.

I have been coming to this place for over 25 years, with my family. The owner has always provide great service, family concern. good value for money, quirky menu fried ice cream. We have celebrated so many special family occasions here. love the décor hasn't changed for years but adds to the charm.
Very nice meal out with friends. Friendly and attentive staff. We shared fried rice, beef and black bean, flaming prawns, Peking pork chops and mixed veg. All was delicious. Chinese can be hit and miss but this was definitely a hit.
My partner and I visited this restaurant for the first time last year to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We had already tried several other restaurants in the casino, but decided to give this one a chance.
We called ahead to let them know we would be arriving late, but when we got there, they informed us that the kitchen was closed. I mentioned that it would have been appreciated if they had accommodated us.

I cannot praise the food enough. Be sure to try the roasted pork belly and fried rice.
Love this restaurant. Every dish we order is a success! We drive 30 minutes to eat there, my kids wouldn't eat anywhere else.
