The chips and Guacamole is great. They are crispy, salted appropriate and the Guacamole is a refreshing taste.Don't get the steamed tacos if you aren't going to eat them right at the restaurant. I took it to go, and in the 15 minute commute back home, the integrity of the tortilla fell apart and these were a wet mess that ripped as soon as you tried to pick them up.I will try this place again in future and adjust my ratings accordingly, cause the meat and cabbage of the Tacos were nice. My gf and I liked the filling, but the soggy tortilla was off putting.
I had some delicious, fresh soft corn tacos at this restaurant. My favorites were the steak taco and the al pastor, which features yummy roasted pineapple—I wish they offered the pineapple as an add-on for all the other tacos! You definitely need to try the guacamole; it’s fresh and makes a great addition to the tacos. The only problem I encountered was a mix-up with the salsa. I ordered mild but received the extra spicy one instead; it had a mild label but was really spicy.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, and I regret not doing it sooner. I have to say, I'm truly impressed by this small eatery. The tacos were absolutely delicious. I've tried other places before, but this one is definitely worth the money. I sampled a few items on the menu, and my favorites were the Carnitas and Pastor tacos. They were packed with flavor and had a lot of juicy meat. I will definitely be returning!
The food is just as delicious as it appears! I've only ordered from here online due to the pandemic, but I can't wait to bring my partner for a visit. My only minor complaint is that I'd love the salsa to come in larger containers, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. 5/5 Taco al pastor. It's one of my favorites in Toronto and reminds me of the ones in Mexico City. The caramelized pineapple slice is great. Delicious!3.5/5 Steamed tacos with potato filling. This place is a hidden gem! Been craving some Mexican food and thanks to google I found this place. I ordered the steak quesadillas and steak tacos and it was very good. Friendly service and located in a good neighborhood. However, the food needs more seasoning and I wished the taco shell were hard with a crunch. Will definitely come back. Gracias. Highly recommend.
However, my only critique and disappointment was that my salsas were missing from the order. Everyone knows that salsas are essential to the taco experience, so this oversight really impacted the overall meal. At least I received my limes. I will definitely consider ordering from here again, but I hope that next time everything is included in the bag.
I’ve eyed this place for a while and finally gave it a try. Boy do I regret waiting so long! Their barbacao burrito is delicious!! I have been craving it since I’ve had it.
