Went to Ernie's for the first time today. If the excellent food wasn't already enough to make me come back, Ernie and the rest of the rest of the wonderful staff certainly were. Everything about my (seven meat) sandwich was completely delicious, and Ernie made me feel so welcome and happy that I stopped in. You're the man, Ernie! I'll see you again soon!
I had a double meat sandwich on an onion roll with a side of sharp potato salad, and everything was delicious! My brother ordered the monster sandwich loaded with all kinds of meat, and it looked incredible! The friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere deserve five stars on their own! This is definitely a must-visit place!
Ernies is an old school sandwich shop where customer interaction and genuine love for people shines thru this is the environment the big box shops have destroyed since taking over many retail industries thank you Ernie for the great lunch and a reminder how people should be

Ernie's exemplifies everything that is great about food service. The sandwiches are delicious, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the customer service is outstanding! This place is truly a legend in the Detroit area!
Hey baby....my boyfriend and I came in this morning for our first time. You hooked him up with “The Monster” and I had the buffalo chicken sandwich. Ah-mazing!!! Definitely will make the drive back. Thanks Ernie!!
