My husband and I stopped in here for a late lunch and were very surprised and happy to see that they are actually open all day,...until 10pm I believe. We walked in to find a nice gas fire going in the fireplace so we sat down across from it,..it was lovely. We were the only ones here at this time. We were met by Anna was was laughing and chit chatting about the menu she was writing down and she was just so delightful. Then Mariah came and took our order and she was also very delightful, friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered the stew that was on the menu for the day and I decided to order pizza,..and lots of it to take home the extras. The stew was great and my pizza was excellent....
What a completely terrible experience. My son ordered a burger and onion rings which was less then impressive. I ordered chicken souvlaki and with greek salad no cheese and the dressing on the side. The salad was covered in cheese and the dressing was on the salad. I was not able to eat the salad as it was completely saturated in dressing and cheese. The souvlaki was not even grilled by any means and it was not on a skewer. It was definitely microwaved and tossed on the plate which the salad dressing soaked. When the waitress asked how it was I said fine, however I can't eat the salad as I requested the dressing on the side. The waitress did not offer to replace the salad, she simply said so...
We stopped in here again since we were passing through town. We were greeted by Anne and again we see her smiling face and happy manner. My husband ordered the beef home made soup and I had the beef soup and an egg sandwich. The soup had lots of chunks of beef and large pieces of vegetables like carrots and long green beans. The sandwich was a good size and very tasty as well. Nice to have something different than a regular burger and fries,.. We will return of course as this is our GO TO place in Arthur.
Erni's Place had been highly recommended by a friend who knows good eats but we were disappointed both times we went here. We were told that the pizza and hamburgers were really great. We should have stuck to them. Tried the fish and chips special. Not great. Hamburgers on our next visit much better. Both times the servers were indifferent. Too many other places to eat to give Erni's another try.
Travelling from Hamilton Ontario to Collingwood Ontario we stopped for lunch at Erni's. The service was wonderful.Typical diner menu, the girls had their homemade soup and I had the Souvlaki and a diet coke. Great price, we all eat for $ 33.... now where can you find good food, great service and cheap prices.
Went in with hubby and kids for the first time and sat down next to a nice warm fireplace. We were surprised at the size of the menu and truly enjoyed chatting with our waitress. We found out she was the owner's mom. Very friendly. Great meal, great prices. I would recommend.
My friend & I stopped here for breakfast on our way North. It's a good choice for a good breakfast. The service was quick and efficient. The eggs were cooked to order and so was the bacon. Done just the way we like it.Clean and tidy restaurant.
If you are looking for an everyday meal this is a good place to stop. Fish was good, chicken fingers were good but not very large, hot hamburger was a fav for my hubby. Fries are great and of course the scoop ice-cream was great for the kids.
A great place to eat!!! The best pizza. Polite staff and wonderful atmosphere. I have never been disappointed with anything I have order. Cozy restaurant
