Three of us sat at an outside table for a relaxed Saturday lunch.The menu looked decent, and we chose to share 2 starters, and each ordered our main.We were specifically asked if we wanted the starters first, and stated that, yes, we would.After a very long wait our starters eventually arrived... haloumi and sweet potato fries, which were both nice. However! We had hardly started and the mains arrived... contrary to what we requested.Never mind! The food was nice and we enjoyed coffee after eating. And despite not drinking, the staff did not mind us sitting virtually all afternoon chatting, and kept us supplied with fresh water.So food was good, service ok, but the initial wait after orderin...
We went for breakfast on January 1 2017 and was told there was a 20 minute wait for coffee. We actually received our very average bacon eggs breakfast before the coffee! Orange juice took 30 minutes to arrive after the meals. There are many better options in North Melbourne and we would not have visited Errol's if it had not been New Years Day and many other of our favourite places were closed. Should have had breakfast at home!
We ordered the Mezzo plate to share and what a surprise that was! Hummus, sausage, calamari, pumpkin, olives, capsicum, mozzarella stuffed with olives, eggplant which blew us away before we ordered our mains of crispy skin salmon, a pasta dish from the specials menu and the lamb shanks finished off a great night of eating. Great value with attentive staff in a great location and comfy venue.
This place is quite deceptive in that from walking in, you cannot tell immediately how fabulous it is. The magic starts with the friendly wait staff, followed by a quick review of the menu. Some really great items here. I really needed more days in Melbourne. I had the Sweet potato

Had a midweek lunch on a tight schedule here. Service was friendly and obliging from the minute we walked in. $20 lunch deal offered lots of choice and food was great. Vibe was relaxed and the place was full. Definitely recommend.
Called in for breakfast good food and good service , reasonably priced. Fast prompt service although missed one coffee order . Errols breakfast nice and spicy, I liked the twist on traditional breakfast very good
Near by we live in walking distance in North Melbourne is the well known local eatery, Errol's Cafe, your very good standard local pizza, Italian-Australian food, reasonably priced with fast service.
Great food and a few to choose from. Been many times and food and atmosphere always good. Very relaxing and enjoyable here.

Pleasant brunch, friendly service great setting. Simple omelette done just right. Will be coming back for more.
Had a quick visit in here on our first day in Melbourne! Very nice food and IPA's; served by excellent staff!!
