It’s worth noting that the tasting menu is served family-style, meaning all guests at the table must participate, and it costs $95 per person. While I’m not sure if it’s always this way, we received three of each dish since there were three of us, which felt appropriate for our group size. 5* review. But this could’ve been much worse…The food, drinks, presentation, and atmosphere were all top notch. The salt crusted fish, lamb, wine list, and calamari were all absolutely amazing. One of the better dinners we’ve ever had.The reason the review could’ve been worse we either had a waitress who was new or was having a very bad day. She misses two of the drinks in the original drink order. Then misses one of the appetizers we order. Finally, she brings out the wrong entree completely for one of the members of our party. We were there for dinner before the pandemic and it was phenomenal. Our most recent visit thus week was a disappointment. We arrived at 7pm for a 7pm reservation, were told it would be a few minutes for our table and they wouldcome get us. No problem we went to the bar and had a drink, at 7:30 we were still waiting, When we asked they said the person who told us to wait in the bar area had forgotten about us. The name is big, but both food and service are suboptimal… $18 zucchini chips were sticky and soggy, $21 yellowtail crudo has 4 slices of tasteless fish; $26 dungeness crab dish was like a dream, the salt crusted sea bream was a saving grace, but there are better and less expensive ones out there… other than our waiter the rest of the staff are not friendly, but our waiter seems new, took over 20 minutes for him to pour the bottle of RM champagne I brought, and also waited for 15 minutes for him to fill my empty glass after I called a bus boy… it is not worth from any stands… Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Lovely evening with great food, delicious wine and solid service that was not exceptional. Cost was $400 before tip. While the restaurant is fine dining, it seemed totally tacky that $2 was added to the bill for a refill of plain pita bread. It was rather classless for such a classy restaurant. The $2 seemed even more petty when the bill arrived with the minimum suggest tip of 20% on the total not the before tax amount.

As new parents w a toddler we often struggle to find nicer places we want to go eat, that can accommodate children. Michael Mina's team was so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, they even had a high chair and kids menu! Every dish we ordered was delicious. We will be back!

I found a chip on the opening of my water bottle. We arrived 5 minutes early but had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, it was by the door. To make matters worse, the waiter didn’t even know that we had ordered the prix fixe menu.
