Had a six o’clock reservation before the show. They bring out sliced focaccia with olive tapenade which was delicious. Started with calamari to share it was good. I had the snapper it was nicely done it came on a large bed of spinach. I gave my husband half of the spinach and I still had lots. My husband had the grouper he really enjoyed it. We also ordered a side of roasted potatoes which were good. But had we known the portion sizes there was no need to order the potatoes. We had no room for dessert. We made it to our play Moulin Rouge in plenty of time, it is very close by.
That was likely the best gnocchi I've had in ages. They were very accommodating of my sister's gluten allergy, which was a huge plus. Even though we arrived near closing time, the owner graciously kept the restaurant open for us. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Our wonderful waiter suggested a chocolate pudding that was simply extraordinary. The flavor was so amazing that no photo could ever capture its true appeal.
During my visit to NYC, my friend and I dined at this restaurant. As someone with gluten and lactose intolerances, I decided to try the homemade gluten-free pasta with white truffles in the upstairs dining area, and it was fantastic! My friend ordered the lamb and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cocktails and wine selection were impressive, and the service was outstanding. I have nothing but positive comments about this restaurant and highly recommend it!
We love this place. Casual atmosphere but special and not noisy. Delicious food, great friendly service attentive without hovering, good location near Times Square but far enough from the noise. We had the Red Snapper Livornese and the Roasted Grouper both excellent. There are a few tables outside if the weather is nice. Foot/car traffic is not obnoxious. Not only was it really solid Italian, I was with a friend who's gluten free and they specialize in that! I ordered gluten free as well so she could try more things, and I can vouch that it's some of the best gluten free pasta I've ever had. Servers were super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and allergies, too. Will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Great restaurant for gluten free dining
I went to this place for office dinner, the ambience was okay. I had prosciutto, melon, dates wrapped in pancetta for the appetizer, I found it a bit too salty and hard to chew, melons were not ripe. For the main course, I got orecchiette, italiansausage, ricotta salata which was good. Tiramisu was good too. The server mixed orders quite often. Decent experience overall.
this is a lively Italian restaurant with excellent service. the wine collection is decent if they like traditional Italian weeping. the eating was also quite good, the waiter recommended a court that he said turned him from a vegetarian to a carnivore of casoncelli (a callbsravioli) and it was excellent. all pasta was cooked all the dente, which is always a pleasure.

Thought the food was great. They had gluten free options which was great for family with celiacs disease. Fig drink is amazing. Had the goat cheese ravioli and loved it.
