A step back in time! What a great suggestion by the girl at the front desk. Definitely a local favorite and now its our favorite too! Lots of memorabilia from a simpler time. We sat at the bar and out bartender Cori) was friendly and fast, plus she remembered what we were drinking. The bar was full and she was the only one working the bar! Waitress/The girl who picked up my call wasn?t honest but lazy on Sunday night past 7 pm. She told me the restaurant was fully packed and can?t take any order. So we should call back again in an hour or later. We live close and thought that is very unusual?then decided to drive by to order in person. 5min drive took us there. The restaurant was almost empty. Your shift probably might be over soon and didn't want to work? How can you tell an obvious lie like this? That is what you get paid for. Grown up, girl. We are so deeply disappointed.

At first glance, Ethyl's prices seem reasonable, but you actually get significantly more food for your money compared to other places. Additionally, their nostalgic decor is a fun way for kids to learn that people used to hand-crank gas pumps back in the day!
I travel and dine across the country with my wife, but she wasn't with me tonight. The restaurant was bustling, and the staff was friendly. My waitress had a large group come in behind me, but she ensured my order was taken first. The food was hearty and packed with flavor. We decided to order the house special Buffalo chicken dip, but unfortunately, it never made it to our table, so we can't comment on how good it might have been. I chose the meat platter, which included brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Unfortunately, all of the meat was bland and flavorless. The brisket was almost inedible due to its dryness, and none of the meats had any smoky flavor. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience.
My stepmother found this place when she lived near the Holiday Inn and Suites and said I should try. I had the pulled pig and pommes. My stepmother had pulled the Carolina pork, potato salad and corn on the Cob. My father had the cod and a baked potato. The food was fantastic, huge menu with many options! Great service and atmosphere!
It was quite odd that I arrived and waited for 10 minutes without being acknowledged while the bartender was busy chatting with a girl. This happened two more times while I waited for service. The food was just okay. I suppose that's a reflection of the times. Most people seem to go there for the nostalgia since it’s locally owned.

Met family for dinner, this place is always hopping server was attentive, but not over baring. The food was good. You have a few sand volleyball courts, atleast 2 billiard tables you serve Pepsi products and adult drinks.
