To my shock, the security personnel yelled at us in a harsh and humiliating manner, accusing me of lying when I said I didn’t know about the dog policy and that I hadn’t seen any signs. They continued to shout at all of us as we attempted to leave, displaying aggressive and threatening behavior. The whole experience was frightening and abusive, and I can’t believe how hostile they were. It felt as though they were trying to escalate the situation rather than resolve it peacefully. Thankfully, no one responded to their aggression, but it could have easily turned dangerous. It was also a deeply classist experience for me. Truly one of the most underwhelming farmer's markets I've been too.The biggest disappointment is the lack of food/food trucks. There's a extremely mediocre Mexican tent with bland food, especially the breakfast tacos. There's also a standard crepe tent. That's it.No entertainment other than occasional students from NW performing for tips.Ugly parking lot with no flow.Two hidden porta-potties in the parking garage.Food is wildly expensive, not always for higher quality.
The market is well-organized with plenty of space. There are many fantastic choices for fruits and vegetables, along with specialty stalls. They have tables and chairs where you can relax and enjoy food from the vendors at any time during your shopping experience.
