This restaurant is definitely on the expensive side, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and the bartenders are extremely friendly. We just found out that they have a fantastic trio that performs live music every Monday night starting around 7:30. I cannot recommend them enough - the Diamond Jim Greene Trio! I also suggest trying the Hemingway cocktail, it's delicious.
This restaurant is one of the top cocktail bars in the Chicago area. They serve expertly crafted drinks with a rich history. Anders, the bartender was friendly and attentive. The wine choices, though slim, were delicious. The beer selection was fantastic, and of course the whiskey/scotch rocked! Our sandwich was also yummy! And the music was extremely cool! Everything was great!
Classy place! Wide array of libations and good food. I very much enjoyed the the Old Fashioned! They have tea pickled eggs as well (don’t knock it until you try it).
The cocktails were incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. There was also live music, which added to the overall experience.
