This place was a unexpected little spot of goodness. I got the signature beef noodle soup with mild spiciness, you can forgo or keep it the regular spice level. For the noodle style, I chose the egg noodles. Also ordered the beef wrapped enoki mushroomsappetizer. Both were flavorful and better than I would have expected. The noodles were thin and chewy enough, plenty in onebowl. The broth was tasty and was seasoned just right and the beef pieces were tender. Beef enoki had a bit of sauceincorporated to make it stand out a bit than the typical. Overall I?d come back to this place. It is quite a small place so whenit?s busy expect to not only wait for a seat and for your food.
Have eaten here once before and the food was good. Nothing spectacular, but not bad. They're open late so that's a plus. Ordered takeout via Grubhub and after I was notified it was ready I went to go in and pick it up. The workers seemed confused and told me it would be another 10 min. Not sure if they actually got my order or just started making it then. The real kicker was watching the cook eating food behind the counter while soup or broth bubbled away on the stove. As someone who works in food service I can tell you that is a huge Health Department No! Kinda makes me wonder what other food violations are happening here.
I visited this restaurant with my partner, and I was absolutely amazed! The dry noodles were packed with flavor, and the price was unbelievable. I was truly surprised. The waiter was extremely polite and even assisted my partner in choosing the right dishes after his recent molar removal. I am so grateful for this experience. I highly recommend this place!
Hotpot for tonight during this ?fall weather? at SoCal. I came in last hour before closing at 11pm, only 2 Staff members and were busy but very attentive to any customers. I had #2 with beef and signature house milk tea. Overall good dine in spot withspeedy service, a hidden gem. The name outside is still called Rockstar Noodle Bar but it is Even Life. I'm not quite sure how to rate this place—it's definitely a love-hate relationship for me. It's one of my top three spots for beef noodle soup, but the owner seems to have dropped the ball. Make sure to check for updated business hours, as that information can change frequently. I recommend calling ahead for guidance from the staff!
Came here with my partner and !!!! The dried noodles were so fulfilling and for the price? Incredible. I was shocked , the waiter was so polite and helped my partner with finding the right meal for his recent molar removal , so thankful for thisexperience. highly recommended
Delicious! Friends recommended this place and I?m really grateful! Will definitely come again for Signature spicy beef noodle soup and Beef tendon noodle soup. Both Signature handmade and Hand shaved noodles were tasty and had great texture.

The super spicy bark soup is a weekly favorite of mine. The only downside is that they never seem to answer the phone. I often have to call multiple times before I can even place an order.
