We had a wonderful brunch here over the summer. There were 13 of us and we had a large table outside. It's really pretty in the back and the menu was very creative.Huevos rancheros, polenta bowls, veggie melts and Avocado bacon Swiss sandwiches were among some of the entrées that we had. The biscuits were very memorable with a nice honey butter. Yum! We all enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. A real farm to table experience.
My Peruvian potatoes dish was a lot of mashed potato with 2 underfried , jellyish eggs , a slice of avocado and some greens and was underwhelming I’m afraid. My tea came ready made in a mug with way too much milk -pale and undrinkable. I was expecting so much more but the scenery on the drive up was pretty.
The best breakfast around! A little secret in the area! Such beautiful and creative breakfast and lunch offerings clean food and so perfectly made! Service was efficient. It's a little tight in there but the place is an old farmhouse so it's cozy and lots of old NE character! Make a reservation!
You have to make a reservation (even for breakfast) which works for me. We sat outside on a lovely morning. Coffee was decent, blueberry scone was yummy and the llapingachos were deliciously different. It's all fresh farm to table and everything is scratch made. Would definitely go back. It's the best coffee in Wilton NH. Depending on who is working you will get significantly different coffee even if you always order the same thing. Some of the servers will make your coffee strong, sweet, bitter, etc. The young man who works here makes the best coffee/lattes.
Just an update: Hilltop Cafe is as good as ever! It may have improved!The food is something special fresh ingredients, served in imaginative and delicious ways! The servers are friendly, accommodating, and pleasant! It's so refreshing to find a place like this.....
The best breakfast place my husband and I have eaten at in a long time. Had the french toast and a bowl of yogurt on the side with the lemon curd mixed in and it was amazing. Gives a rustic feel and had outdoor seating.

Great food in a nice location. Not far from Mason Quarry or waterfalls. Staff is friendly and it was a delicious lunch.
