It was Father 's day so a bit of a delay expected, but we had reservations for lunch at 3:30, when we arrived they said lots of people had reservations and we are short staffed so they just put everyone on a walk in list after saying 15 mins. 45 minutes later we were seated, missing the lunch window. Then, when the food did come out it was small and was not good : the Sausage was excellent, Mac good, brisket okay, pulled pork nasty parts at bottom of heap that should have been thrown away, not served for consumption . I am sorry about the short staff, but treating customers this way with poor service and worse, poor food, isn 't the answer...next time say sorry, offer a free appetizer as a s...
I was disappointed with my latest dining experience at Dave's. It was Mother's Day and I was hoping for top-notch food, but unfortunately, the service was slow even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food was cold and the salads didn't taste very fresh. I was especially disappointed that the cedar planked salmon had been taken off the menu, as it was a great vegetarian option. Overall, all 10 of us left feeling like it might be a while before we give Dave's another chance.
Since we did not order $200 in food, what we received did not look at all like the pictures. Serving sizes for sides are small. The open faced sandwiches to be served on Texas Toast were served on slices of bread. I left a sizeable tip for the great waiter we had but that had nothing to do with the food itself.
I would have given more stars but was told open table overbooked their reservations by 40 people so we scooted to the bar to eat so otherwise we would have had an hour wait.

We arrived on Father’s Day after making a reservation only to be told they were not honoring reservations because some large parties had arrived. Never going back.
Things were ok. It was just average bbq. The menu shrank from what it used to be, and not what I remember from the last time I was there.
I don't understand why I had to wait for a table even though I made reservations during check-in. The service was terrible.
It was fine. Server probably had too many tables. But good was good. Mac an cheese was average at best.
