After having had a succession of mediocre to poor meals from far Pavilion over the last 18 months, I felt compelled to write this review. Partly out of disappointment; as this used to be by far the best Indian restaurant in the whole area. However, since Covid, and particularly over the last two years, the quality of the food has dropped considerably, while the prices have continued to increase. (This is now one of the most expensive takeaway options in the area Around two years ago, for some reason (perhaps a change of chef? , they started to change the flavour of their dishes which have become steadily more bland and tasteless. To the point where a lot of dishes now just seem to taste the...
Food was amazing. The staff were excellent and it was very clean ..highly recommended. I stopped going here some 2 years ago, I stopped because of the quality of the food. I decided to give it another try and was so disappointed, the madras curry sauce was very oily and the chicken was as tough as old boots, I couldn't eat it and threw it away. The rice was good as was the nan bread. Shall NOT be going there again. My partner and I booked a table for their birthday, and we were pleased that we did so as the restaurant quickly filled up with other diners. We were warmly greeted at the door with big smiles and shown to our table. The food was delicious, served quickly and efficiently, and the staff were courteous throughout our meal. It was a delightful dining experience, and we are looking forward to coming back again in the future.
