After having had a succession of mediocre to poor meals from far Pavilion over the last 18 months, I felt compelled to write this review. Partly out of disappointment; as this used to be by far the best Indian restaurant in the whole area. However, since Covid, and particularly over the last two years, the quality of the food has dropped considerably, while the prices have continued to increase. (This is now one of the most expensive takeaway options in the area Around two years ago, for some reason (perhaps a change of chef? , they started to change the flavour of their dishes which have become steadily more bland and tasteless. Food was amazing. The staff were excellent and it was very clean ..highly recommended. I stopped going here some 2 years ago, I stopped because of the quality of the food. I decided to give it another try and was so disappointed, the madras curry sauce was very oily and the chicken was as tough as old boots, I couldn't eat it and threw it away. The rice was good as was the nan bread. Shall NOT be going there again. I ordered from Morecambe Eats and was disappointed to receive a paper tray with only 1 spoon of sauce and 3 pieces of rubbery chicken. The mixed tandoori starter was underwhelming with tiny portions of chicken, lamb, and seekh, along with a thin lamb chop and a burnt wing. I would not recommend this place at all. The service, atmosphere, and food quality were all rated poorly. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: £20-30.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the service was a bit on the slow side. I dined in for dinner and the price per person was £30–40. I would give the food a rating of 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 4. I highly recommend trying the Garlic Naan.
